About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our ICT Client based in Melbourne CBD. This is for 3 months contract position.
Duties
- Application of modelling and analysis methods to business problems and solution design, giving special consideration to business perspectives
- Investigation, analysis, documentation, and review of business and user requirements and objectives aimed at improving particular aspects of a business
- Specification of information models, business processes and user interface mock-ups to support understanding of requirements
- Identification of stakeholders and their business needs
- Creation of functional specifications and acceptance criteria to support the construction of information systems
- Preparation of business cases which define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits (via changes in information management, practices, processes, or organisation change), and associated business risks.
- Definition of measurement criteria for benefit realisation
- Ability to review the work of others and to allocate tasks to resources
Skills & Experience
To successfully deliver this project you will need:
- Experience developing or tailoring BA method and deliverables for data migration, data sorucing,data mart projects
- Understanding of formal BA / UML modelling tools, especially Enterprise Architect
- Capability to mentor Junior BAs, conduct quality reviews of team members work, and allocate tasks to resources
- Experience leading a team of Bas,
- Experience across a variety of SDLC methodologies including RUP or Agile
- Ability to document and discuss both technical and non-technical topics with various types of stakeholder
- Experience across custom development and information management initiatives
- BA’s with regulatory/ compliance is experience is must
- ASIC/APRA,Remediation
- Must have Banking domain experience
