Mercury IT are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator/ Project Engineer to join our Professional Services Team on a full time basis at our Brisbane CBD office.
Our Professional Services Engineers are responsible for completing client projects, infrastructure implementation and upgrades, provisioning and maintenance, client on-boarding as well as providing Level 3 support for technical escalations from our Service Team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Professional Services Engineer Role
- VMware ESX (v4, v5, v6)
- Windows Server 2016, 2012 and 2008
- Active Directory (Domain trusts, sites and services)
- Group Policy and PowerShell
- Experience with Azure and O365
- Enterprise backup solutions
- Well presented
- Excellent work ethic
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and to make independent decisions
- Highly developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and support professional relationships
- A desire to continually develop your skills through company sponsored learning
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle to attend client sites
Desirable skills and proficiencies:
- Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, Cisco, Citrix, VMware or other certs) in particular: MCSA, MCSE, VCP or CCP
- Experience with Data Centre environments
