About the role
We are looking to bring on board a DevOps Manager to lead our globally distributed team of DevOps Engineers! You’ll be working with a diverse set of systems and platforms that support all of our customer facing products and services, and will be assisting engineering teams in building out our DevOps functions and culture.
Whilst we’re looking for a leader we still want you to be hands on technically! We want you to be strategic with excellent technical execution, and the ability to communicate up and down the organisation whilst forging strong collaborative relationships with your stakeholders.
About you
- Solid experience in a similar managerial role, having played a key role in the implementation of a DevOps culture/practice and standards that are aligned with a recognized certification such as SOC 2
- Server (Windows + Linux), Microsoft System Centre and Network administration
- Evaluating the use of cloud based infrastructure, in particular - Azure
- Degree qualified, and ITIL v3 experience desirable
- Experience with Cloud based infrastructure and architecture including; Azure and Office 365
- Experience working with global teams in different time zones
- Experience developing and executing clearly defined Production Operation standards and processes
- Demonstrated technical leadership and people management
- Solid hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ruby, Python and BASH
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Chef / Puppet/Jenkins
- Experience with containerization, i.e. Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with current logging and monitoring tools
