Your role
The Professional Services Manager, Security & Risk will be responsible for building and overseeing a successful Security Consulting business within Saab Australia, providing a suite of Security and Risk related services to midsize and large enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Supporting the Security & Risk Manager in developing Saab’s Cyber strategy
• Developing campaign and capture plans to secure key government and industry sector markets;
• Assisting in identifying profitable business opportunities that align with the Saab Australia’s Business Plan;
• Gathering and disseminating intelligence on customer and competitor intentions;
• Understanding the intentions and strategies of Saab corporate and Business Areas and engage with other security & risk personnel within Saab globally to maintain awareness, alignment and provide input into Saab’s global cyber security aspirations and capabilities;
• Participating in tendering work and on occasion take on the role of Tender Manager to secure Security & Risk projects/services contracts;
• Preparing and presenting business cases in accordance with the Saab framework;
• Leading, planning and developing Saab’s Security & Risk Professional Services team in all aspects of the team’s day-to day duties and long term performance targets;
• Taking responsibility and accountability for the complete management of relevant projects and tasks;
• Providing assistance and support to Saab Australia’s internal operations and environments as well as external projects with Security & Risk related deliverable systems for conformance to required accreditations and satisfy the requirements of company security policies;
• When required, directly engaging with customers and undertaking actual hands on activities required to generate revenue.

Your skills and experience
Essential:

• Strong business acumen including financial and commercial experience;
• Strong presales skills and experience;
• Extensive working experience in solution / security architecture or design;
• Broad knowledge and experience across various information security domains and technologies;
• An understanding of the current trends and developments in cyber and information security;
• Demonstrated ability to develop fit for purpose solutions to solve complex technical issues;
• Significant experience in the end-to-end security project life cycle - defining security requirements, high level architecture, detailed design & implementation;
• Proven technical (hands-on) experience, ideally with specialisation in a particular security domain;
• Industry certifications in: CISSP, CISA, and CISM;
• Experience working in and/or with classified defence industry environments;
• Team leadership and the ability to grow and develop personnel.

Desirable

• Additional industry certifications, that would be beneficial include: GIAC; CRISC; and CGEIT;
• Working knowledge of TOGAF® framework;
• Experience with market planning;
• Strong negotiation skills to influence cost and risk based decisions.
