Mobile Automation Tester

My client is one of the big financial players in Sydney (and Australia) - with a sought after reputation in the market. They are seeking a Mobile Automation Tester to join their digital/mobile team and work on mature automation projects. They are looking for the kind of personality who is interested in self-development and upskilling, beginning as a contractor and proving themselves, thereafter moving into a permanent position.

Java OOP coding must be strong for this role; this is the language they automate in. Appium is a bonus but exposure/experience is ideal.

The 4 month contract begins at $550 per day and after that the starting package is $116,235 ($90,000 base + Super + $18,000 performance related bonus).


Required Skills:

• Selenium - Appium
• Java
• BDD - Cucumber/Serenity
• Experience working across mobile apps (iOS and Android)
• Strong Agile understanding
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal with stakeholders including BAs, Developers and Senior Management

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience in a Developer role (OOP programming)
• Banking domain experience
• Home learning (frameworks, apps - iOS/Android)
