Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Architect

The Role
Will see you running a team as well as being responsible for driving BI and Data across the organisation (End to End solutions, Design, Architecture). You will be involved in the Senior Leadership Team and have a say in how data is captured and presented across all areas of the company. It’s a great opportunity to shape the BI/Data landscape of my client (Strategy, implement and research new tech options (cloud/AWS, analytic tools, etc.)

You will work closely with various business stakeholders, participate in the architecture, design and development of BI, Data, Enterprise Data Warehouse components, including Data Marts, Operational Data Stores, Staging Archival, OLAP Cubes, Master Data Repositories, and various Data Governance initiatives.
  
Experience and skills required

• Experience as a Business Intelligence/Manager, Architect or similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of in the development of BI and Data Procedures across complexes, large and immature environments
• Proven ability in developing best practice for BI, Data Warehouse, Reporting
• Diverse experience with a strong focus on Relational databases, Multi-Dimensional databases, Data Modelling, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
• Deep subject matter expertise on Data Warehouse principles and ETL design patterns
• Good architectural understanding of all Information Management components like; Relational Databases, ETL, Data Quality, Data Security etc.
• Deep understanding of Agile Ability to mentor others and drive change
• Good skills and knowledge of the MS BI stack
• Strong managerial experience in managing a team with both technical and business-focused members providing technical leadership to other developers and engineers
