Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment
  • Ordering and managing spare parts and RMAs with suppliers
  • Identifying and participating in sales opportunities by means of surveys, system design or pilot site testing
  • Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and escalation process is followed to resolve customer service delivery issues
  • Compete all necessary documentation for installations and survey activities and keep all internal service logs and records up to date
  • Undertake special allocated projects as directed by your Manager
  • Provide Customer training as required
  • Be flexible in working hours when requested and provide after-hours support (approx. one week in eight)
  • Be able to travel within your region and occasionally as requested outside your region
  • Meet all OH&S requirements

 

Skills and Experience

  • You will offer a logical approach to problem solving with a strong customer service attitude
  • You must be a team player, be dependable and have the ability to work autonomously
  • A full valid driver’s license is necessary
  • Network Technical skills equivalent to CCNA level. Ability to understand, configure, support and/ortroubleshoot network components such as switching, routing, ASA, cabling, firewalls, LAN, WAN , TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, latency and VDSL2
  • Specific network understanding of various vendors equipment’s commonly deployed with our Wi-Fi solutions such as HP/Aruba, Brocade, Ruckus, Nomadix, Extreme, Juniper
  • OS knowledge Linux, Windows OS & Apple iOS to the extent required in installing, supporting and troubleshooting our solutions for both HSIA and IPTV/IPVOD
  • PC support knowledge – LAN port, Wi-Fi, setup & configuration and troubleshooting
  • Well-presented and professionally confident
  • Exceptional customer service focus and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise, manage multiple technical issues simultaneously and work to deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral English skills
  • Good documentation skills
