About the role
The AWS Solution Architect/Engineer will be responsible for the end to end design. This strategic role involves a high degree of interaction with the Executive, a multi disciplinary team across UX, digital marketing and operations while leading the development team to deliver innovative research based solutions to real world problems on market driven deadlines. This will require the ability to relate to problems across those disciplines, wearing multiple hats and taking a hands on approach as situation demands.

Job tasks and responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Providing architectural design input into next gen cloud based solution leveraging AWS.
- Delivery of complex, AWS based solution, application and technical architecture.
- Architecting and driving adoption of DevOps processes and tools.
- Providing architecture guidance and thought leadership on matters pertaining to the AWS cloud platform and best practices to the tech leads and developers.
Skills and experience
- The ability to plan and prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Experience demonstrating courage and resilience in the face of ambiguity while showing flexibility and an openness to change.
- Exceptional problem-solving experience with an ability to cut-through complexity, and an ability to think creatively with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end solutions on AWS that integrate with multiple applications, systems and businesses (i.e. from architecture/design to release).
- Extensive experience across application architecture and design, development practices such as Design Patterns, Test-Driven Development.
- 5+ years of experience in digital solution design and architecture, and software development methodology and best practices.
- Experience with contemporary programming languages and paradigms such as NodeJs, Micro services, SQL, Python, PHP MVC frameworks, REST APIs, Front End JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJS or Vue).
- Experience in data management, performance engineering and security.
