Financial Institution is looking for an experienced data engineer to assist on a global project to build a financial decision tool - an automated dashboard that can assist on risk, rewards, profit/loss etc of large project & mergers/acquisitions etc.

The tool will be built on a large Azure DW and use Alteryx to drive data blending, as well as a tableau/PowerBI front end. 

• Work with the Analytics team to understand current practices & processes.
• Build Alteryx Workflow & Data Blending automation.
• Develop input / output Macros.
• Develop Alteryx Apps that business users can utilise.
• Build automation using Python (or similar C#, Bash, Shell...)
• Drive Data Governance practice to reduce the dependance of unstructured data. 

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ MS SQL Server Database development (including demonstrated SQL 2012 experience): Database Design, Table Design, T-SQL Data Types, Constraints, Views, Indexes, Stored Procedures and Functions, scripting and User management.
• Minimum 3 years’ extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) experience, including scripting
• Data modelling experience including Tabular.
• Excellent hands on experience of Alteryx.
