The purpose of my role is to:
Lead DevOps Engineer is responsible for leading DevOps related activities (including test, build and release infrastructure) for multiple projects which are implemented to production system. This will include designing and implementing processes and tools to support continuous integration and testing. The Lead DevOps Engineer will be a proponent for good software engineering standards and practices. The candidate will also review existing processes and make recommendations & implement software process improvements going forward based on SDLC/ALM standards. The candidate will have Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and SCRUM experience and/or certifications..
What you will bring to the role:
- Extensive experience in DevOps, Automation, MS Azure platform mandatory.
- Excellent Solution Development & Service Delivery skills
- Oracle and SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL skills mandatory
- PowerShell Scripting mandatory.
- Good understanding of OOP (object oriented programming)
- Excellent understanding of Web Services Technologies RESTful APIs and SOA.
- Solid experience in batch and online scheduling
- Microsoft Certification desirable
