My client is a leading global services provider with a range of products they deliver to over 100 clients in multiple Countries across the World. Currently conducting a massive internal digital transformation programme, they are working with the most cutting edge technologies as they mature their DevOps strategies and consolidate their product offerings across a range of technologies and languages.
The Role
Seeking a solid intermediate Software Developer with a passion for coding to join their highly skilled Agile Development team, to work on various exciting and challenging projects simultaneously. Work alongside like-minded individuals who live and breathe all things software in a Scrum oriented development environment, who have a keen interest in Cloud technologies and DevOps.
Your Profile
- Solid skills across any blend of the following: PHP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Node, C#, .Net, Object Oriented Programming, AJAX, Zend, Schemas, TDD, XML, SOAP, Rest, JQuery, Angular, MVC, Web APIs
- Good all round understanding of IT Infrastructures (Windows, Linux, LAMP Stack, Cloud technologies i.e. AWS)
- Keen interest in DevOps, IoT, Web and Mobile Development
- Knowledge of software development principles, methodologies and tools
- Meticulous in design processes, including self-testing, technical and user documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to self-determine workload within a project management framework
- Able to produce excellent results in the timeframe they are expected
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong command of both written and verbal English
- Excellent all round problem solving skills, with an eye for detail and a quality styled approach
Your Responsibilities:
- Characterise, analyse and fine-tune software to deliver optimal performance
- Administering, configuring and managing large scale databases
- Managing and operating on cloud infrastructure
- Creating compelling user experiences across a range of products
- Security architecture planning, research, design, implementation and testing
- Proficiency with software quality assurance methodologies, tools and processes
- Serve as a key contributor to agile planning processes
