IT Security Analyst required by our Financial Services client, to play a key role in an in-house Security Operations team in Sydney CBD.
This is a role which would suit a Security Analyst with experience across various facets of Information Security, interacting with the wider IT community and business stakeholders to cover Security advisory, consultancy, incidents and project work. Responsibilities will include;
- Investigating and responding to Security escalations & queries
- Driving changes to improve Security through a mix of tactical & strategic initiatives
- Working with risk and audit teams to help manage the banks systems
- Management and monitoring of Security Monitoring Service Providers to ensure they perform as per SLA
- Provide security advice and expertise and consultancy at all levels of the business, contributing to IT security-related projects
- Monitor SOC services, in accordance with applicable SLAs
- Create and monitor custom SIEM dashboards, reports, and alerts
You will be a Security Analyst with a broad range of technical knowledge, and a problem solver with a background of solving Security issues in large scale environments previously.
Technical knowledge in SIEM, Privileged Access Management systems, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and experience with the likes of Arcsight, Splunk, CyberArk and Nessus is required, with SANS or CISSP certifications a big plus as well.
