Join our collaborative and high performing Technology team as a Java DevOps Engineer.
Working within our Macquarie Asset Management division, you’ll drive upgrades across a range of applications, including in-house and vendor applications. You’ll utilise your outstanding technical skills to manage multiple deliverables with a pragmatic approach. Alongside your technical abilities, your strong stakeholder management skills will be key in guiding technical and non-technical stakeholders through the change lifecycle, from requirement to implementation.
Ideally, you’ll be an experienced Java DevOps Engineer with proven success working with large and complex applications. Your prior experience in financial services will be an advantage, but it is not essential. You’ll have exceptional knowledge of java application development. You’ll utilise your professional communication skills to communicate complex solutions to stakeholders of all levels.
Ideally, you’ll be proficient in the following technologies:
- Java application development experience
- experience with Oracle or MSSQL database
- experience with CI / CD tools
- exposure / experience with AWS
- Windows or UNIX scripting
- experience with integration technology such as JMS, Camel or webMethods
