Business analyst needed for risk maturity program (non-IT project).
Your new company
You will be working for a federal government agency that provides over $20 billion in social services to support hundreds of thousands of individuals and their families.
Your new role
As Senior Business Analyst, you will be working in the Risk Maturity Program to deliver the first agency wide risk maturity assessment. Working closely with the Program Sponsor, Program Lead and Senior Managers, you will:
- Contribute with the development of interview questionnaires, surveys and focus group material
- Identify deficiencies and recommend improvements for the agency’s risk management and compliance framework
- Assist with facilitating interviews and focus groups with stakeholders
- Develop surveys and capture results for review, assessment and analysis
- Analyse and report on key metrics to assist with assessing risk maturity
- Provide analysis documentation
- Manage program scope and adjust schedules where necessary
- Lead or participate in Program streams by completing and updating program documentation and managing program scope
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
- Previous proven experience delivering as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within a Government setting
- Strong project management experience and multitasking skills
- Experience working on large scale projects and building strong relationships
- Experience in enterprise risk management and compliance functions is essential
- Analytical skills to draw on research, evidence and performance reports to influence improved service delivery
- Experience in a legislated and regulatory environment is desirable
- You must be an innovative thinker and hands on all-rounder
- You must have proven experience gathering requirements and working with a program or PMO Director
- Australian PR or Citizenship is required as entry level checks will be conducted
