One of Robert Walters' best NSW Government clients has an urgent need for an SAP Basis Administrator to provide support and maintenance for their SAP platform. The role is an initial short term contract with very high likelihood of extension, based in Sydney's southern suburbs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support and maintenance for the SAP platform including SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7, BW 7.4, Enterprise Portal 7.4 and BO4.2.
• Undertake analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving of all issues that relate to the technical SAP Platform on an ongoing basis
• Perform daily SAP transports and SAP health checks
• Provide and maintain quality technical documentation to support the SAP platform
• Work with other project teams as an SAP Basis resource to complete some minor tasks
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in SAP Basis administration (3+ years), including experience in standard SAP procedures such as client copies, database refreshes, patching, transport management, upgrades and performance tuning of database and SAP applications
• Demonstrated experience within an SAP Platform to undertake analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving to resolve issues
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical documentation to support an SAP Platform
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
