Required skills and experience:

• At least 2 years hands on experience with Node.JS;
• Ideally have an understanding of and experience with Meteor.js (ideal but not mandatory);
• An excellent understanding of Node.JS;
• An excellent understanding of No SQL (especially Mongo DB);
• Experience porting the backend to REACT front ends;
• Experience using external API's and web hooks;
• A good understanding of basic Linux commands and Nginx configuration;
• Have some understanding and experience with AWS, s3 and server deployment;
• Have experience using Git version control;

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver high quality code that has been thoroughly tested and optimized;
• Work autonomously when needed and be able to work well in a small team;
• Ensure all back-end development adheres to security and performance best practices;
• Develop the back-end and front end of platforms and apps using Meteor.js / Node.js / REACT / Graph QL and Mongodb;
• Meet important project milestones and push development code to staging servers.
