A leading global IT organisation is currently looking for an experienced IBM WebSphere Application Server Administrator to be responsible to ensure design, build and implementation of work product, with the highest quality within defined timelines. You will also be responsible for leading technology teams in the delivery of technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in client-facing roles to contribute towards the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex and technology solutions.
• Hands-on technical expertise in providing technology guidance to the implementation team throughout the life cycle of a project.
• Participate in requirements elicitation, validation of architecture, creation and review of design.
• Assign and review tasks for work product implementation with the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings to customers in own technology domain.
• Review data from multiple sources and integrates data/inputs in a manner to build cause effect linkages to arrive at key issues.
• Understanding of the problem to arrive at multiple solution alternatives keeping in mind the various stakeholders.
• Assessment of the pros and cons of all the alternatives to arrive at the optimal solution

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT domain and relevant certifications
• 5+ years of experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server version 8.5.5
• Proven experience in configuration and setup of IHS webserver and webserver Plugins for WebSphere application servers is desired 
• Able to configure, execute and troubleshoot operation of Java application containers, specifically WebSphere
• Relevant experience in SSL certificate configuration in webserver IHS and WebSphere layer
• Working experience in managing multiple environments and production support.
• Experiences in working closely with application team to ensure resolution of issues.
