Reporting into the Corporate Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Manager the Lead OT and Industrial Cyber-Security Engineer will drive improvements across the ANZ business with the management of ICS systems and Cyber-Security risk for new and existing operations across water, waste and energy.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
ICS and Industrial Cyber-security Management Committee
- Key technical representative on this committee
- Primary responsibility for implementation of actions
Standards Development
- Establish and maintain standards, policies, procedures and good practice guides in consultation with corporate and regional engineering teams
Audit Program
- Manage an ICS Cyber-security audit program for all Veolia ANZoperations against Veolia local and global policies and standards
- Drive ongoing improvements in compliance with the Veolia global ICSSecurity policy
- Manage ANZ component of any global audit program
Industrial Cyber-security Awareness
- Manage an Industrial Cyber-security Awareness program
- Actively monitor cyber-security threats
OT Systems Management
- Manage a register of all ICS systems for Veolia ANZ
- Ensure critical documentation and asset inventory for all ICS systems is maintained
- Manage OT assets for selected sites
Technical Expert
- Maintain competence and be the principal technical expert in the field of OT systems and Industrial Cyber-security
- Manage relationships with external technical groups (ICS, WSAA etc.)
Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor the Australian and New Zealand regulatory environment inrelation cyber security of ICS
Business Development
- Design review and verification for D&C projects, tenders and bids
- Expert advice on technical risks associated with new business development opportunities
- Development of technical solutions to support business development
Engineering
- Provide expert advice on all matters relating to OT and Industrial Cyber-security
- Manage service providers, projects and contractors
- Develop concept designs and scopes of work
- Review concepts and detailed designs prepared by clients, contractors and JV partners
- Assist with the management of key supplier relationships
Operational Support
- Support site based staff in the management of OT, electrical and controls assets
- Design and implement OT, electrical and Instrumentation modifications
- Participate in client or regulator initiated Cyber-security audits
Qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering, computer science, ICT or related area.
- Cyber-security (post graduate training or certification (CISSP etc.) – desirable)
- Microsoft, Cisco, VMware certifications (desirable)
- 10+ years minimum engineering experience.
- Wide knowledge of ICS, preferably for the control of critical infrastructure
- Wide knowledge of control systems software and hardware including
- Citect and Schneider control systems.
- Implementation and support of OT systems
- Implementation and support or Cyber-security Management Program in an OT environment
- Experience with VMware ESXi environment
- Experience with the management of Windows Server networks
- Effective communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to clarify, time manage, resolve issues and make decisions
- Knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation and regulations specific to the area of work
Required Licenses:
- Driver’s license
- CPEng & RPEQ (or commit to obtain within one year of commencement) – (or ICT equivalent)
