A large, established government organisation is seeking to engage an experienced Program Manager to oversee the intiation of a large ICT transformation initiative. You will undertake preparatory activities associated with the transition of on-premise applications to As-a-Service provision and the subsequent architecture, design and configuration of the future state services and their successful transition.
This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity, with the possibility of an extension, located in Brisbane CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Baseline the current operational costs and document the as-built architecture associated with applications and services which is to be recorded in a knowledge repositor
- In conjunction with organisational Enterprise Architecture, design and configure the tenant and future state solution
- Design the future state architecture As-a-Service patterns
- Design and configure the transition state integration Platform
- Broker the Infrastructure As-a-Service and Platform As-a-Service capabilities, including verification of security controls and compliance
- Conduct a proof of concept relating to each of the respective future state architecture patterns
- Facilitate the transition of the agreed applications/services to As-a-Service provision based on the outcomes of the proof of concept
- Decomissioning of redundant applications/services
Key Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience of managing large programs of work
Proven ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including customers, subject matter experts, delivery teams, with the ability to manage blockers with distributed stakeholders
- Minimum of 3 years Program Management experience in large Enterprise environments.
Good documentation skills
Experience in dealing with external partners and vendors
