The Role
Reporting to the Software Development Manager you will be responsible for the development of financial service products from initial concept through to completion for a target market ranging from everyday customers through to large businesses.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong .Net Framework 3.5-4.0+; C#, Web API and ASP.Net MVC
- Good JavaScript experience and ideally worked with Angular/React.
- Good understanding of the HTML5, CSS3, Webpack/Gulp/Grunt
- Understand the importance of high quality code through non negotiables like unit tests, integration/acceptance tests, clean code, reducing framework dependencies, etc.
- Able to troubleshoot technical issues
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Good understanding of design patterns such as MVC
- Source control and continuous integration systems SQL knowledge ideally in SQL Server and SSIS
- Built systems around MSMQ/Service Bus
- Built Windows Services
