Overview
Growing Data is looking for passionate Senior Front End developers to join our Melbourne-based consultancy team.
This role is ideal for you if you have a wealth of experience in developing great software and you enjoy a balance of project leadership, solution architecture, mentorship, and hands-on delivery.
You will play a key part in shaping a burgeoning Platform as a Service (PaaS) that is transforming how Australian corporates derive value from data using machine learning.
Our bread and butter is in turning ideas into prototypes which can then be deployed securely and reliably to our platform. This means we are constantly delivering new, creative solutions using cutting edge technology. If you are smart and get excited about getting things done, we would love to hear from you!
Skills / Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial front end development experience
- Excellent core front end skills
- Excellent REST and JSON APIs skills
- An eye for design when it comes to building beautiful software
- Ability to analyse and make recommendations for general improvement
- A good understanding of accessibility, web standards and best practices.
- Passionate about solving complex problems
Experience in:
- HTML5 / CSS3
- JavaScript
- ReactJS
- Front end tooling (i.e. Webpack, Babel, Gulp, Grunt)
- Git
Experience in the following would be advantageous:
- A folio of work demonstrating your proficiency with ReactJS
- Graphic design
- Responsive & mobile design
- Familiarity with data visualization frameworks such as D3
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with developing and deploying Container-related technologies
- Commercial experience in performing UX reviews
- Testing frameworks such as Jest & Enzyme
