A contract role has arisen for an experienced Commercial Analyst with a Software Asset Management/Procurement background. You will be working for a large Infrastructure Advisory company based in Melbourne CBD on a short term opportunity that will take you to End of October. The role will be helping to sort through software renewals. Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to;

Responsibilities; 

• Picking Software Renewals up from Service Now and speaking with product owners about their needs going forward
• Working with the vendors to obtain quotes
• Checking on budget position for renewals
• checking the terms & conditions if costs change
• Working with Senior Commercial Analyst on what to progress/decommission
• Renewing software with vendors
• Updating software tracker and content server
• Put Purchase orders in place to pay for renewals 

Skills required;

• Solid understanding of software asset management concepts
• Software Procurement experience
• Previous experience in software asset management roles
• Understanding of Flexera and Service Now toolsets
