We’re a creative studio based in Adelaide and Sydney right now. We’re growing fast, so we’re looking for a new web developer to join us!
We work mostly for the music, culture and entertainment industries. Think Spotify, Universal Music, Paramount Pictures and Triple J. Plus a few corporate and non-profits in between. There’s a solid mixture of work - from website and digital campaigns to apps and games.
We’re looking for someone that:
- Knows HTML and CSS well enough to make reliable, accessible websites on every screen size
- Has skills in writing modular, object-oriented PHP
- Is well acquainted with PHP Standards Recommendations (PSR)
- Has experience with database solutions and query languages, particularly MySQL
- Is user-focused and understands UX principles
- Loves creating beautiful, easy to use user interfaces
- Is “Agile" and able to learn new skills fast to keep up with the ever-changing frontend landscape
- References a cat or a breed of cat in their application to show attention to detail
- Is curious and not afraid to push the envelope, ask around and improve on the way things are done
- Has strong communication skills to interact effortlessly with colleagues and clients
To blow our socks off, you'll have:
- Tinkered with, or are experienced with PHP frameworks such as Laravel
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with modern Javascript build tools and CSS preprocessors such as Webpack and SASS
- The ability to work with popular frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, AngularJS and Vue.js
- Web Animation skills that can blow our mind, be that Canvas, CSS3, WebGL or something else
- Knowledge of responsive design
