The Role
Finite are currently seeking Front End Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with a centrally located Federal Government department in Canberra. This opportunity is only open to Australian Citizens with a current government security clearance, or the ability to obtain one (Baseline minimum).
Mandatory Criteria
- Strong front-end web developer technical skills
- Highly experienced in HTML5, CSS3
- Experienced in JavaScript (particularly jQuery)
- Experienced delivering responsive designs (Bootstrap framework)
- Experienced developing websites for accessibility - Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic about new web technology and best practice
Desirable Criteria
- Publishing experience using MadCap Flare
