Purpose
As a Client Infrastructure, effectively deploy Intelerad's PACS/RIS software and maintain the deployment testing procedures to enable clients to have the tools that will make a difference in their day to day operations.
Work hours: 10:30 am- 7 pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
PACS/RIS software Change requests
- Perform key change/maintenance requests within Intelerad's PACS/RIS software
PACS/RIS software Change requests deployment
- Learn the PACS and RIS deployment process
- Install and upgrade client sites and internal PACS/RIS installations in a reliable, timely, and non-disruptive manner. This entails that you:
- Follow the Deployment HowTo and AdHoc deployment documents
- Follow the Testing HowTo document
- Set up test farms as required
- Hand-off a tested and functioning PACS/RIS after deployment to Support
- Give your best effort to observe prescheduled deployment timelines
- Occasionally work weekends, holidays, or off-hours
- Perform incremental and complete installations and upgrades
- Help maintain the Deployment Testing HowTo document and the associated procedures:
- Implement new tests, and refine existing tests
- Maintain and improve testing procedures and their documentation
- Coordinate testing efforts with QA
- Document missing and new test procedures
- Follow and help develop and maintain any future and current deployment documents
- Suggest improvements to the deployment process and participate in implementing them.
- Assist in training new staff in matters of PACS/RIS Client Infrastructure
- Perform 3rd level support in the areas of configuration changes and disaster recovery
- Occasionally assist in deployment or related development tasks
Pre-requisites
- Strong background in in Unix/Linux administration
- Linux system administration
- Linux network administration
- Experience or knowledge of Windows Server (configuration of users, network shares, services)
- Perl, python and shell scripting experience
- SQL and database experience
- A tertiary degree in a computer related field
