Now is the time to Join an a Big Data Engineering team with a focus on real-time Data Streaming in Financial Services.

We have Multiple 6-12 month Contract roles available with a much longer term view due to the phenomenal demand to up-skill software engineering capabilities. 

The Roles:
As a Big Data Engineer you will Build and harden data pipelines for ingestion of high quality data. You will Define standards & frameworks for data pipelines to support the analytics platform. You will Collaborate to define the Big Data architecture and technology selection. 

In this role you will be working on real-time ingestion, real-time compute, ingesting data and processing data in real-time.

This Org is using Kafka streaming, Spark, MapReduce, NoSQL Cassandra, Elastic Search and more.

You will Apply DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles to build automated pipelines for deployment and production assurance. 

Experience Required:
* Strong Python and Java Development Exp (Essential)
* Java Full-Stack Development experience (Desirable)
* Scala Programming Exp (Desirable)
* Computer Science Degree (Essential)
* 5-10 years Programming Exp
* Knowledge of Kafka & Spark (Desirable)
* Object Orientated Programming background
* Big Data Engineering Exp (Desirable)
* Relational DB's, ETL tools & Data Profiling Exp (Desirable)
* C and C++ Programming Exp for Machine Learning (Also an area of interest)
