We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Agile Business Analyst to join our rapidly expanding technology team. To succeed in the role – you will be a mid to senior level Business Analyst, who has worked on several agile projects through the past 5-8 years.  You are quick off the mark, and you have the skills and tools that enable your fast learning. 

You understand that interacting with people is one of the biggest parts of your day, and you build good relationships easily, with people in varying levels of seniority within an organization, and in a variety of roles and functions.  You’re passionate about agile and can bring great experience from helping teams become better agile practitioners.

Experience required for the role:

• Facilitating the business discussion to create a clear articulation of the product vision, the expected value for business and customer, and to produce the product definition.
• Demonstrable experience in decomposing a product definition into a backlog of Epics and User Stories.  Being able to translate a product definition into stories that a team can estimate for and derive a good understanding of how to build.A thorough understanding of Agile and the Scrum approach to achieving agility. Good experience with the Sprint planning, Retrospective and Sprint demonstration ceremonies.
• Working with a Product Owner and a Scrum Master / Iteration Manager, and understanding what is that healthy sharing of responsibilities between these roles.
• Strong technical understanding of Web and App development, with experience of developing for enterprise based solutions.
• Sound experience with API’s and the services architectures which enable modern web/app based products.  Familiarity with the request/response nature of API’s is essential.
• Communicating with business stakeholders using written and verbal means of communication. 
• Your documentation is rated as professional, clear and concise, and you clearly understand the difference between analysis required for an agile project versus analysis that takes place for a traditional project. You know how to communicate with stakeholders throughout the typical lifecycle of agile development, to continuously curate that backlog and the roadmap of upcoming initiatives.
• You possess strong leadership skills, you are an influencer and you build relationships quickly
• You are fluent in the conversation with the architects, tech leads and the developers.  You are not intimidated by the technical conversation, even though you do not need to be responsible for technical choices or the technical direction being followed.
