Join the expanding Australian office of a global, pioneering and MIT award winning software company which develops process automation robotics software. 

In this role you will provide a senior level of support for technical and application issues raised by the company's clients and partners across AsiaPac (Australia, China, S.Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and more).

The role will involve approx 20% travel to support clients in these areas from time to time.  Your home base is in superb, city view offices in the Sydney CBD! So a great opportunity for someone who would love to do some travel in their role, and also have a great team to work with when not travelling.

As the senior support engineer you will be the lead or go-to person for difficult technical situations experienced by the support team (development, support engineers), and customers. 

You should have experience as a senior level solutions technical support professional supporting software for clients, along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable talking to management, fellow engineers and customers.

You must have broad technical experience and love problem solving. 

Full training will be provide on the company's software solution and delivery approach!

Essential technical skills: A strong mix of the following:

  • Server config, networking, network security, identity mgt, info security & encryption, and other technical infrastructure;
  • Virtualisation (VMWare, Citrix), private & public AWS, Azure cloud techs;
  • Background in s/w development / delivery;
  • MS technology eg Windows, .Net (ideal), VB, C#, SQL Server, Internet Explorer, AD, IIE 
  • Automation and/or orchestration tools.

Soft skills include ability to work independently or in a team, remotely or on-site, and with technical staff at all levels of partner and client organisations. Plus ability / experience to advise & assist & mentor other staff to resolve more complex technical issues.
