One of our key clients is looking to engage with a Quality Assurance Engineer to help create a culture of technical accountability for our engineering teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the way hundreds of millions of people create content on the web.

You will be a key member of the team responsible for developing and maintaining our online presence, spanning our marketing websites, online store, and client self service applications.  

As a QA Engineer, you will define and execute test plans, using mostly manual processes. Some automation and test tool development may be required as the role progresses. You will be responsible for identifying key risks, and understanding and analysing intricate behaviours in the rich capabilities of our products. The role will require both test planning and execution, working with engineering teams and other stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Managers, Lead Developers and teams to provide direction and solutions for quality assurance
• Create, execute and maintain Acceptance Test plans
• Perform analysis of test results and prepares test reports which verify and validate the quality of the product
• Identify areas of opportunity for test automation and convert manual testing into automated frameworks as required
• A proven record of accomplishment of effective Quality Assurance / Quality Control on a major engineering projects or program during the development

To be successful in this role you need the following:

• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Good team orientation and a collaborative workstyle
• Strong written and oral communication skills, solid judgment, reasoning, and decision making abilities
• Eye for detail
• Methodical and organised working
• Strong understanding of modern web and mobile applications
• Basic debugging of web apps
• Experience in test case management tools, such as TestRail.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in web development or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
