LEVEL 3 HELPDESK
This national leader in their specialised field are looking for a Level 3 helpdesk Systems Engineer to provide system and network support. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting internal (and external) stakeholders and ready to be a part of a digital transformation journey.
This role is responsible for supporting and maintain existing Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure technologies and services, contributing to the ongoing Cloud transformation projects, future innovations and business demands and supporting end-users and business stakeholders directly.
Responsibilities:
• Support and maintain existing Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure technologies and services
• Contribute to the ongoing Cloud Transformation projects
• Work directly with the end users and business stockholders
• Provide technical support for their Application
• Contribute to the internal knowledge base through knowledge sharing and documenting technical issues that have not previously been encountered
• Assisting with the internal projects and development activities
• Automate repetitive tasks via scripting
• Perform on call weekend support duties as part of a rotating roster with in the Infrastructure team (generally one weekend a month).
Selection Criteria
• Experience with private, public and hybrid cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Office365 and VMware )
• Solid experience with physical server and storage hardware
• High level of Microsoft Operating System Roles (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS etc.)
• Solid experience with routers, switches and firewalls (Cisco, Dell and SonicWALL )
• Demonstrated knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing, IPSEC tunnels etc.
• Experience in supporting and maintaining backup solutions
Desired Requirements
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks per demands and willingness to learn
• SCCM design and automation skills are preferred
• Experience with VOIP technologies
• Citrix experience
• Relevant Industry Certification
