Description
The Front End Developer will work as part of this team to develop and engage the broadest possible audience through exploring and delivering the best possible customer experience for users. The front end developer will also be responsible for:
- Turning conceptual design and user interface mock-ups and comps into functional web/mobile applications
- Participating in the entire development cycle (analysis, spec, design, code, pilot, launch and support)
- Ensuring all front-end technology solutions are properly architected and specified
- Defining and disseminate front -end technology best practices
- Testing and re-factoring code across browsers
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop an understanding of user goals and objectives
- Collaborating with the development team to plan, prototype and build appropriate solutions
Profile
- Experience in hand-coding JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, HMTL5, CSS, JSON, AJAX
- Experience working with ASP.NET, C#
- CMS template creation, modification & manipulation
- Proficiency with modern web design concepts such as responsive design and mobile first development, template design & build
- Demonstrated development experience and mastery of interface design
- Proven experience in web application architecture, object orientated software and design patterns
- Good understanding of the principles of web accessibility and user-centred design
- Degree in computer science or relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrable significant work experience in a similar role
