About my client: 


A Non-for-profit who is committed to ensuring a better future for Aboriginal people by working for the return of culturally significant and economically viable land, pursuing cultural, social and economic independence for its people and being politically proactive and voicing the position of Aboriginal people on issues that affect them.

Day in the life of  the Business Development Adviser:
  • Engagement and negotiation with service providers, including the development of Service Level Agreements for services offered through the Hub.
  • Development of concessional desk and office policy, and seeking agreement on this policy with the Commonwealth
  • Development of education and training package (service offering in-house and via service providers for upskilling and education relating to business, employment and employers working with Indigenous peoples)
  • Development of CRM training tools/manual and form templates which collect relevant data to inform and track the progress and outcomes of the Hub
  • Development of content, dynamic tools and design of a web portal to enable remote access to Hub services. Negotiation and contract management of consultants engaged to create this web portal.
  • Review of ICT requirements in the permanent facility once identified.
  • Train and induct new staff at the Hub
  • Oversee initial delivery of communications and marketing plans for the Hub, including the development of social media channels
 Extra Details:
  • Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
  • Duration: July > November 2018
