Our Client is seeking to appoint a Cloud Technical Architect to join the existing team on a permanent basis due to expansion.

The main purpose of the role is to produce detailed design documents for the next generation Cloud platform across Australia working together with the wider Cloud, Design Authority, vendors and partners achieving strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Generates design specifications for the businesses Private Hosted Cloud. May involve use of 3rd party designs and engagement.
• Directing and working with other Senior & Technical Architects.
• Developing and leading the technical approach for building Technical solutions.
• Design enterprise solutions across multiple platforms and applications.
• Taking overall solution responsibility and ownership.

Experience/Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency essential
• Typically 5 to 8 years Architect and or senior engineering experience with minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud technologies (VMware)
• VMware SDDC design certification desired
• Should have good understanding of major public Cloud platforms
• Exceptional relationship management & demonstrated ability in end-to-end design and consultancy.
• Ability to communicate on a senior level.
• Excellent mentoring and presentation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of technologies across a number of disciplines.
• Excellent problem solving, innovation, planning skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Mature and professional outlook.
