- End to end delivery services including Detail Design in MapInfo
- Planning and Designing of FTTC and FTTB Networks using MapInfo and AutoCAD

Role Purpose : Leading FTTX Design Team
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Manage the team of SME's aligned, if any, for the project & manage project resource allocation • Provide direction and support to team including quality assurance • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions • Experience in at least 2 access technologies • Experience of field coordination and vendor escalations
• Deep Knowledge
o Planning and Designing of FTTC and FTTB Networks using MapInfo and AutoCAD
o End to end delivery services including Detail Design in MapInfo, FIR, Construction Plans, Project Costing (BOM/BOQ)
o Creating APD – HLD design packages and submissions
o Creating FDDD Pack deliverables
o Coordinating with the Field Teams for required information
o Preparation of Field Inspection documents and maps, validating field inputs.
o Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings and regulations for the use of telecommunications equipment.
o Create detail design for outside plant in MapInfo and send to build team
o Communicate with field teams for any additional data / clarification required
o Assist build team while construction
o Understand design aspects for fibre rollout
o Check existing plant details in GIS tools like MapInfo, Spatial net
o Validate survey reports and site design received from Field team
o Create drawing in AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio if required
Qualifications and Experience:
7+ years of experience in IP / Telecom domain, out of which 3 years should have been in Project management • Post Graduate / bachelor’s in engineering - Electronics or Electronics & Communications (Preferred) • Knowledge on IP/MPLS, Fibre & other emerging technologies • Good blend of telecom domain and technical skills • Good negotiation skills and people management skills • Strong oral & written communication skills to communicate with internal and external customers • Advanced working knowledge on MS-Office applications & Technical systems • Proven experience in people management & change management • Proficient in MS projects or equivalent project management software
