Developer | intern | full-time | 6 months +

Our growing organisation needs a Developer to join the intern program, within in our small, but extremely capable, Information Systems team. This is a full-time role, based in the Sydney CBD, for an initial period of six months, which may be extended.

You will showcase your skills and broaden your IT experience, as you:

• support our range of webs/applications
• extend our online presence
• help develop in both front and back-end systems
• work closely with and are mentored by experienced developers.

You need to demonstrate the following skills:

• developing Java or PHP based webs/applications
• knowing how to work in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• using frameworks such as JQuery and Bootstrap
• creating and using SQL queries
• working in a Unix and/or Linux environment
• giving timely and helpful technical support to staff
• diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues

You also need to have:

• a relevant degree from an Australian university (or be close to completion)
• fluent English, both spoken and written.

We will mentor and support you, but you need the relevant qualifications and experience before you join us. We test short-listed applicants on writing, technical and presentation skills directly relevant to the job.
