AWA Technology Services is a division of Cabrini Technology Group and a leading national independent information and communications technology service provider.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to work as an IT Remedial Maintenance Technician in our new ACT branch. The role is focused on in-warranty repairs for laptops, tablets, and PC's. You will have exposure to multiple corporate/Government customers and large multinational vendors with a mix of customers including corporate, small business, home users, government agencies and schools.
Key Accountabilities:
- Diagnose and repair of hardware including desktop, notebook and tablet equipment;
- Reinstalling software and reimaging systems;
- Manage and coordinate scheduled calls on a daily basis;
- Spare parts control;
- Timely, accurate completion of call administration;
- Support of local branch administration and logistics.
As the successful candidate you will possess:
- Certificate III in Information Technology or equivalent;
- Minimum of three years' experience in repairing laptop/tablet and desktop break fix;
- Ability to test, certify and support wide variety of IT products and solutions as well as various customer types;
- Good knowledge in MS software and configuration/installation including general knowledge of IT trouble shooting;
- Relevant OEM training on products serviced (Desirable);
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to operate independently, with minimum direct supervision, decisive;
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills;
- Effective interpersonal skills;
- Excellent time management skills and experience with working within Service Level Agreement boundaries;
- Ability to follow and adhere to processes and procedures;
- Strong commitment to self-development including maintaining OEM Certifications;
- Flexibility to work across the state as required;
- High attention to detail.
- A "do whatever it takes!" attitude.
Essential:
- Own vehicle and valid driver's licence;
- Be able to pass, or have a current ACT Working with Children Check and National Police Check
A competitive salary package that includes salary sacrifice benefits and a Payment rate of $20.90 per hour, plus vehicle allowance and a per kilometre reimbursement rate will be offered to the successful applicant.
