Your new role
The role of Business Development Manager for this organisation is unique, as it is a newly created role. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Strategy, this role will be responsible for developing new business opportunities throughout the Asia-Pacific region through a number of channels. This organisation has an outstanding reputation for market leading innovation and has established strong relationships in other territories around the world and you will work closely with your counterparts to work on sales strategy. You will also need to have previous experiences working in Asian markets, understanding the nuances and differences in business principles.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role of Business Development Manager, you will have proven experience with sales solutions, and being able to sell market leading technologies. This SaaS experience, coupled with your experience in Asia will enable you to succeed in presenting and negotiating with C-Suite level and ensure you build further opportunities. Due to the technical nature of the product, Asian language skills would be seen as highly advantageous.
