An excellent contract opportunity has become available for an Application Support Analyst within a highly regarded organisation, that frequently offer extensions or transitions into permanent opportunities. This initial 2 month contract provides an Application Support Analyst with a great opportunity with a reliable employer.
 
The role

• Be the Technical Lead on projects with in the organisation and implement upgrades on existing and new applications.
• Provide application support and undertake scheduled systems and applications maintenance tasks as required.
• Write and review technical documents.
• Plan, implement and test software enhancements and fixes for applications.
• Create and maintain documentation of policies, procedures and operational manuals.

The ideal candidate

• Ability to demonstrate and display integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant discipline.
• Experience with and strong understanding of SQL databases.
• Experience in supporting and administering application software.
• An analytical thinker and a proactive problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.
• Confident with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project).
• Demonstrated experience in documenting procedures.
