You are;
- A problem solver who likes complex software/engineering challenges and business analysis;
- Up and coming talent looking to rapidly accumulate exposure to multiple projects, clients, commercial processes, and cutting edge technology stacks;
- Driven, and able to work in an agile and high performance environment.
You will;
- Spend most of your time doing real engineering and coding work for our clients;
- Work on multiple projects that carry varying responsibilities;
- Lead projects from a technical and project management perspective;
- You will take ideas from a whiteboard all the way to being live, tracking results and making improvements;
- Manage project teams of engineers based in Perth and remotely in our office in Jakarta. Lead scrums, sprint retrospectives, etc.
- You will quickly build systems with limited resources within the long term vision of how those systems would need to exist at scale;
- Collaborate with product managers and other leaders, including the Jack's CTO, to identify new product features, systems and best practices;
- Monitor technology and social trends that could impact the company;
- Build team morale and contribute to building Jack's culture;
- Know yourself, manage yourself, and lead project teams.
Your skills and experience;
- 5+ years of development experience;
- Your tech stack includes JavaScript, PHP, Python, C++, AWS, SQL, Rest APIs;
- Leadership skills, with startup experience, and small team management;
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or relevant/equivalent experience;
- Useful if you have experience or an interest in machine learning and the blockchain.
