About the Role
Our major Consulting/Manages Services client is seeking to appoint a Business Analyst. With your capabilities and industry knowledge, you will comfortably liaise with stakeholders in order to obtain, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and policies across all streams of the project.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives using knowledge information technology and industry knowledge/requirements.
- Act as a liaison between client and technical solutions/support groups using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyse and validate business processes, systems and solution requirements.
- Research, identify and specify solutions to problems.
- Support and conduct visualization, user experience and configuration elements of solution design.
- Document requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes and tools.
- Support requirements management and change management processes.
- Support aspects of the business cycle, including proposals, feasibility studies and implementations.
- Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A University degree in Business, Information Technology or related discipline
- 2+ years Business Analysis experience
- Requirements determinations using structured techniques for documentation, analysis, evaluation and validation
- Decomposition of high level information into details: abstracting low level information, distinguishing requests vs needs, distinguishing requirements vs solutions, classifying/prioritising requirements
- Required change management and trace-ability, identifying risks, applying creativity to solving complex problems, building relationships and working collaboratively. Effective verbal/written communication
Baseline Clearance Required.
Australian Citizens’ or Australian Permanent Residents with a 5 year traceable history in Australia
