OneAffiniti is looking for an experienced software engineer to be part of a highly collaborative team. You will be solving difficult problems and helping to architect and build maintainable applications. You should be comfortable working in a fast­ paced, flexible environment with small sprint teams where communication is essential. Also, you should have the ability to find the optimal way to implement requirements in a clean, elegant and object ­oriented way.

Our industry ­leading, innovative platform is built in PHP (Laravel framework as backend) and SPA (AngularJS as front end) running on AWS. We manage development using JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo and other industry standard tools. We are moving to an Agile approach with robust documentation and testing methodologies. Our platform will soon integrate with an industry leading CRM and marketing automation platforms.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Engaging with CEO, CTO, Product Directors and Country Managers to contribute to the technical agenda at a leadership level.
• Designing and developing stable, testable and scalable applications.
• Provide strategic decision­ making regarding platform direction (including technology selection and build vs buy) with the goal to enhance our current and future IP.
• Overseeing the prioritisation of the roadmap to deliver on-­time projects.
• Supporting the roll out of Agile methodology and an appropriate level of continuous integration.
• Ensuring you remain ahead of latest developments in the technology landscape and in digital marketing.

What you’ll need: 

• Several years coding experience with deep knowledge of PHP and related frameworks, SQL and API development.
• Proven experience on SPA (single page application) development using modern javascript frameworks, i.e. AngularJs, ReactJs, Vue etc.
• AWS platform experience.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns.

It would be a bonus if you have:  

• Experience with offshore teams.
• Experience integrating with CRMs and marketing automation tools (Salesforce would be ideal).
• Experience on email marketing and social network apps integration
• Experience with TDD (test driven development), DevOps, Big Data etc.
• Python, Go or other languages.
