We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Communications / Radio Technician to join our busy Services team. This role is responsible for servicing external customers by implementing mobile network infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- working with Project Managers, liaising with customers, problem solving on projects
- conducting site surveys and network audits
- installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair support across various radio communications systems and solutions
- ensuring WHS requirements are followed and any hazard, non-conformance or incidents are addressed promptly or escalated as required
- creating SWM's / JSA's
- documenting service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records
Skills, experience and qualifications
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- a minimum of two years' experience in radio networks including IBC/DAS; RF and networking tools
- a proven track record and understanding of delivering radio communications solutions and applications
- strong understanding of health and safety compliance requirements, and ensure that safety requirements are adhered to and any issues addressed as a priority
- Cert IV or diploma in Communications technology or equivalent
- experience installing, repairing, programming and troubleshooting radio / RF devices
- strong analytical and problem solving skills
- current driver's licence
- good communication skills and confident at building relationships
