As a Network Engineer in Layer2, you will research, analyse and recommend strategies for an important customer to maintain the integrity of their network infrastructure. You will be responsible for delivering pro-actively managing and maintaining the network infrastructure and the application delivery/high availability of different systems. You will perform troubleshooting across LAN/WAN and assist other members of the team. You must have advanced technical knowledge in order to support complex network, load balance and high availability environments on different business needs and requirements. You will also provide network programming to different operational systems; Create, design and keep documentation and procedures up to date.
You’re required to have an extensive technical background in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, network and devices, load balance and firewalls, different algorithms language and great communication skills to deal with a multicultural environment. You will engage customers to understand necessities, business aspects and find solutions.
Required:
You must have minimum 5+ years of experience (plus is desirable) in Computer Network and System Engineering, a bachelor degree, experience and advanced knowledge of the following:
√ IP Network design
√ Strong knowledge of Cisco/Juniper/Checkpoint configuration
√ Various technology of network access types (e.g. Carrier Ethernet, DSL)
√ Familiar with customer enterprise networks
√ Strong experience in the telecommunications provider environment
√ Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing /switching MPLS, traffic engineering, EOMPLS, L2 and L3
√ Mobile IP Backbone experience
√ VoIP Datacentre technologies, Network test tools/procedures and SDN/NFV experience
√ Experience in managing complex technical matters will be highly regarded
√ Extensive experience in writing Network Security documentation
√ Experience with network security and administration

Qualification:
√ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
√ CCIE R&S (mandatory)
√ CCIE Data Center (desirable)
√ Juniper Certification
