- 6 months Contract
Our client is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Consultant whose responsibilities will include end-user support, workstation imaging and troubleshooting, asset management and other tasks as requested by IT management. You must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
The role is an on-demand type, you can work in your free hours, morning / evenings / weekends / lunchtime etc and you will be remunerated on an hourly basis.
Skills required:
- Image, deploy and support laptop workstations running Windows 7 and 10 Enterprise
- Working knowledge of Apple operating systems
- Create and maintain Active Directory user accounts, access, and groups
- Troubleshooting all workstation related software issues including but not limited to: operating system, web browsers (IE, FF, Chrome), Microsoft Office (2013 and 2016), Pulse Secure VPN client, MozyPro, Java, and BlueCoat Unified Agent
- Onboarding and offboarding personnel (creating/disabling accounts, providing/revoking access, etc.)
- Provide telecom support for various devices (iPhones, and Mitel desk phones)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft O365, Skype for Business, OneDrive
- Complying with all internal processes and procedures (ISO 27001, QMS 9000, and various related documentation)
- Provide professional and courteous support to all internal personnel
- Assist with hardware & software procurement and inventory
- Off-hours support as requested
