OVERVIEW
 
Program Manager for large digital transformation project.
A global company is going through a large digital transformation effort.  Systems involved include Omni-channel sales front-end systems (including eCommerce, mobile and Point-of-Sale), customer care, customer management systems as well as backend systems (ERP, Warehouse management). 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The Program Manager will partner with the client Business Leader to manage the program through the build, test, go-live and Hypercare phases.  The key to success is to manage the dependencies across the different application workstreams as each application team will have their own project manager/scrum master.  Methodologies within the workstreams include both agile and waterfall.

• Manage the program on a day to day basis and provide weekly status updates across all workstreams
• Serve as the key escalation point for program issues
• Assess key risk areas and develop mitigation plans
• Facilitate the use of leading practices and standards to support the program
• Engage appropriate business and IT stakeholders
• Influence and expedite project decisions 
• Remove organizational barriers hindering the team's success
• Lead the development of business contingency plans
• Work closely with global leader/coach assigned to ensure success of the program
• Lead program work plan development and identify/validate key cross workstream dependencies and integration points 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Project / Program Management experience
• Experience in overseeing the delivery of intricate programs of work comprising of multiple interdependent projects.
• Change Management
• Confident leading teams of Project Managers
• Certifications in project managements and a comprehensive understanding of Agile project methodologies
• Budget and vendor management skills
• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership, with strong abilities in relationship management
• Gained experience in managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects
• Commercial awareness and knowledge of current and emerging trends along with being able to leverage this knowledge and implement it in relation to the existing technology environment and emerging business and technology requirements
