I am looking for a mid and a senior Visual Designer to join a major Australian Telco for a 6 month contract.
The Visual Designer will actively contribute to continuous improvement of Visual Design across the overall Digital environment. Their active contribution to a data-driven, user-focused, continuous improvement culture is aimed to enhance overall user experience, boosting website conversion and customer retention.
Key responsibilities
- Support delivery of optimal user experiences, UI and visual design across digital platforms
- Use design principals to create high-level engaging visual design
- Follow established styles by working closely with Style Guide Lead and GUI kits
- Apply best practice design across all platforms
- Create high quality design solutions across BAU and Project work
- Collaborate closely with content, UX, producer and development teams to deliver seamless designs that align with the Style Guide and are intuitive to the user
- Create both high-level and detailed visual designs with annotations to help guide business analysts, developers and IT teams through the build and test project phases
- Contribute to the relationship of creative services by supporting design by way of producer & development/IT support
- Independently contribute to and drive projects with stakeholders
- Provide support to key stakeholders based on relevant technical knowledge
- Mentor other team members sharing knowledge and skills
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Visual Design / Digital / Design / UX / UI
- Extensive on the job experience
- Digital business (or indirectly via consulting) experience
- High quality written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience in Adobe CS, Sketch, prototyping tools and presenting detailed recommendations to problems
