About the Role
 
Our Federal Government client is seeking a Senior Windows Server Administrator with expertise and extensive Wintel experience (5+ years) in administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server based enterprise environments (2008, 2012). They require a high level of experience in 2nd and 3rd level technical support of Windows Server environments including active directory, group policy, account management, DNS, DFS.
 
About You
 
We're seeking an individual with highly developed troubleshooting capability with the ability to work independently and in small teams with limited oversight and tight timeframes. You will require experience in the administration of enterprise mobile device management (MDM) systems like MobileIron, Good or Blackberry, along with PowerShell scripting skills with a focus on automating Windows Server administration tasks.
A high level of communication ability is required as you will be required to communicate complex technical information and concepts to non-technical staff and senior management in a clear, easy to understand manner.

This is long term contract is proposed for 12 months commencing in August 2018 and offers a 2x12 month extension option. You will have the opportunity to work within a large and exciting federal department, enhance your network and diversify your skill set with this exciting role.

Due to the sensitive nature of the works candidates will be required to hold an NV1 or NV2 clearance or the eligibility to obtain the clearance.
