As a Senior Application Support Analyst for Workday you’ll provide application, integration and batch support for the key technologies that make up the Workday ERP platform. You’ll take the lead with internal stakeholders to assess and proactively problem solve solutions on Workday related issues and lead the long term plan process for continuous improvement. You’ll provide service delivery of the application and associated integration and batch processes for Workday and co-dependent systems.



Your role provides integration support for various internal and external systems such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Frontier iChris payroll, SWIFT banking gateway and iCertis. You’ll also provide applications support for a number of SaaS and PaaS within Transurban and the ERP related services and you’ll be tasked to perform routine tasks across a number of these systems, as well as troubleshooting incidents and liaising with vendors where necessary, and servicing customer queries, incidents and change controls.

The impact you’ll have
  • You’ll manage major incidents, coordinating internal and external support to rectify problems with minimal impact to the business in relation to Workday
  • You’ll oversee and monitor batch scheduling and processing, as well as identifying and analysing error messages and potential trends.
  • You’ll investigation and resolve technical issues (including connectivity, infrastructure, integration, batch processes and configuration)
  • You’ll review downstream and upstream change records and controls on behalf of the Application Support Team
  • You’ll be comfortable representing the team in various forums when required, with the ability to maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders
  • You’ll mentor junior team members, taking the opportunity to assist with their development and on-the-job training.
  • You’ll think bigger and always look for better solutions and ways of working

The talents you’ll bring
  • Past experience in a similar applications support role supporting an ERP implementation with Workday and understanding of the ERP processes
  • You’ll have worked with or as a Certified Workday provider / implementer
  • You’ll have had exposure to a wide suite of applications such as web services, XML, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS and CC&B/SPL server administration.
  • You’ll enjoy problem solving, and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
  • As a strong communicator, you enjoy dealing with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
  • You’ll have the ability to prioritise, delegate and remain calm in a crisis. You’re also keen to get your hands dirty to resolve a situation.
  • You can mentor, you can lead and most importantly you can lead by example. You don’t say what you would do, you demonstrate how it is done and influence those around you
