The Position
We currently have opportunities for NBN Telecommunications Technicians to join our professional hard-working team.
The position requires the installation of the NBN FTTP network in Multiple Dwelling Units (MDU's). If you are highly skilled in telecommunications we want you in our team.
You will work in teams on new construction projects across the metro areas. The position is project field based and requires travel to sites for the install of cabling and internal equipment in MDU's. Use of our company hand and power tools as well as use of our project support system will be part of your normal working day.
Below are some of role requirements;
- Open cabler Registration with endorsements.
- NBN Enable card.
- min 2 years telecommunications experience.
- Use of hand and power tools
- National Construction Industry safety card
- Good communication skills
- Well presented, physically fit & healthy
- Hard working, reliable, keen & able to take direction easily
- Ability to read project documentation
- A positive team member & diligent with ability to work unsupervised
Persons with experience in the construction trades industry, ability to work on ladders or someone who is willing to learn and develop experience and skills in telecommunications industry are encouraged to apply.
