About the role
RPS is seeking expressions of interest from highly motivated Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to be based in our growing Canberra Office. The successful candidates must have previous Client-side PM experience in successfully delivering ICT and/or Capability projects in the Defence, Law Enforcement, Transport Security or Security sectors.
As these positions will work on Federal Government projects it is an inherent requirement that applicants must be eligible to obtain at least a Baseline National Security Clearance (hold Australian Citizenship - http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva/).
Qualifications
Project Manager
Candidates will have the following skill sets:
- Minimum 3 years Client-side Project Management experience (Defence and Law Enforcement projects highly regarded);
- Proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies;
- Strong communications and leadership skills; and
- AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
Senior Project Manager
Candidates will have the following skill sets:
- Tertiary qualifications in a construction related field
- Minimum 5 years Client-side Project Management experience (Defence and Law Enforcement projects highly regarded);
- Proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies;
- Strong communications and leadership skills;
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage and grow business relationships; and
- AIPM Certified Practicing Senior Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
